Dear Dr. Hardnett,

This is my patient testimonial and I'd be thrilled to have you share it with others who might benefit from it.

It's been one year now since I first began receiving chiropractic care from you. Before coming in I suffered with multiple health issues including chronic neck and back pain, headaches, Scoliosis, and Multiple Sclerosis. A tall order to fill, but I needed to try to relieve my pain without medicine for as long as possible.

During the time I've been coming into your office I have achieved so many positive results! You've enabled me to manage my illness, eliminate pain, and increase my awareness of what healthy living really means.

To be specific, here are some examples. I no longer have daily neck and back pain, my headaches have greatly decreased in frequency and severity, and I continue to manage living with Multiple Sclerosis without needing additional medication. However, the most exciting thing for me was to see my spine literally start straightening itself out after being diagnosed with Scoliosis over 15 years ago. This is actually evidenced by the inch added to my height! Who would have thought that at 32 I would grow!

RETIRED VETERAN - GENERAL WELLNESS, ACHES & PAINS

To whom it may concern,

My name is Richard Phillips and I am a 62 year old retired military veteran and part of the VA system.  I first received care at Life University clinics in the early 1990's with much satisfaction.  Even though I have many issues with my body and spine, I came in for my low back and neck pain.  I have had many chiropractic interns in the past but today is the first adjustment I had with Anthony Hardnett.  This visit with Mr. Hardnett is the reason I wanted to write this letter.  My last visit at the clinic was at the end of July 2005 and for numerous reasons I stopped coming to the clinic for a few months.  I shortly realized how much better I was under chiropractic care so I called the clinic and asked for Dr. Lyles, who was on of the Dr.'s I remembered from my past visits, to let her know I wanted to start coming in the clinic again.  Shortly after that conversation, a chiropractic intern named Anthony Hardnett called to schedule an appointment for a reactivation/physical/and adjustment.  On January 20th 2006 I came into Life University main outpatient clinic with my friend Ms. Betsy for my 10:00am appointment.  So after my first adjustment with Mr. Hardnett I felt immediate relief from all my aches and pains.  When we were walking out to the car I wanted Mr. Hardnett to meet my friend Ms. Betsy who was a retired registered nurse from the VA, Mr. Hardnett tried to apologize to Ms. Betsy for the wait she had to endure.  Ms. Betsy immediately said, "no problem because I can see how much better he is walking!"  MS. Betsy and I left the clinic went to lunch.  When I got in the car I felt circulation in my body increase and I felt more alive.  When we started to eat I felt the urge to use the restroom and "took care of business" more than I have in a long time.  I asked Ms. Betsy what she thought about that and she said, "whatever the intern did to you in the clinic was the right thing."

After lunch, I went home feeling better than I have in years.  I normally have problems sleeping and can't get to bed until very late, but this night I felt tired early but couldn't sleep without first calling Mr. Hardnett to tell him how grateful I was and how wonderful I felt.  I have had many interns at the clinic but very few who have had the touch like Mr. Hardnett, it felt just like and experienced Dr.'s hands.  It felt like he adjusted in the exact places that needed it and I felt immediate relief.  My range of motion was better, circulation was increased and best of all, and I felt rejuvenated internally!  I told Mr. Hardnett how he is on the road for greatness and I want people to know how amazing I felt after the adjustment and how I wanted to write this letter and/or tell anybody about my experience.  I fell like it's a crime that everybody can't get chiropractic care and I wish everybody could reap the benefits as I have.  The type of adjustment like Mr. Hardnett gave me was priceless!  I can go on and on about how wonderful my first visit with Mr. Hardnett was and about other ways chiropractic has helped me in the past, so if you want to hear more, feel free to contact me.

BACK, HIP AND NECK PAIN

I was struggling with back and hip pain and called an orthopedic center for an appointment. The center advised that I should get my back in order before they would address my hip issue. So I searched for a Chiropractic office on the web. I selected Effective Chiropractic, as their web site was customized and provided me with a lot of detail regarding Chiropractic techniques for addressing my symptoms. I set up an appointment and met with Dr. Hardnett, who recommended as a precaution that I needed an MRI. When I mentioned I was claustrophobic, “he said that was no problem” and Dr. Hardnett recommended an open air MRI center and Effective Chiropractic actually made the appointment for me. Once Dr. Hardnett studied the films of my MRI (which revealed that I had several compressed vertebrae), he developed a plan to get me “back” in working order. Through a series of Chiropractic adjustments and a spending time in the physical therapy room which included the special spine decompression table, my back pain had subsided. Further, Dr. Hardnett also recommended a center to help ease the pain in my hip, and Effective Chiropractic made the initial appointment for me. I remember a few weeks ago when I told Dr. Hardnett that I had a pain in my lower back when I tilted my head downwards. He said, “that is your neck, Greg”. I repeated my symptoms to the Doctor as I thought I did not make myself clear enough, as I could not comprehend if you have pain in your back, how could it possibly start with your neck. So Dr. Hardnett told me to lie on my back on the adjusting table, and he placed my head in his hands, and I believe he was determining the magnitude of my misalignment, and then he adjusted my neck, my neck made several releases. I sat up and lowered my head trying to duplicate the pain I felt in the lower back, and it was gone. I was already sold on Chiropractic, but this just reinforced my belief. I recommend Effective Chiropractic to all my friends who experience pain or just want to feel better. I still go every week because I feel better because of it, and I can tilt my head down with no back pain. The staff at Effective Chiropractic is extremely friendly and the waiting area is the best one I have experienced, with friendly patients who talk to each other and informative videos that promote health the natural way.

BACK PAIN, SCIATICA AND MORE

I came to Dr. Hardnett with extreme pain in my back and going down my leg. After my initial visit Dr. Hardnett recommended I get an MRI. After Dr. Hardnett reviewed my MRI he was able to determine that I had a disc herniation from an accident I was in about 6 months prior and needed chiropractic treatment and lumbar traction. Through a series of chiropractic adjustments and lumbar decompression sessions, I am now able to lift weights and exercise normally. I am extremely thankful for the great treatment I have received at Effective Chiropractic. What really impresses me is that Dr. Hardnett is always up-to-date on the newest technology, he has the latest equipment, and he always keeps up with the latest research. I feel confident that I am receiving the best treatment out there for my condition. Since going to Effective Chiropractic I also noticed I have been able to sleep through the night without waking up every couple hours. I have also noticed I just feel better: it’s hard to explain, you have to try for yourself. I encourage all who desire relief from their pain to see Dr. Hardnett, he has surely helped me. CHRONIC MIGRAINE HEADACHES

Since starting my Chiropractic treatment my quality of life has changed dramatically. It took a few months of treatment but now I can plan daily activities without the caveat of "if I don't have a headache". I would usually wake up in the middle of the night with a headache which could last from hours to days. After going to numerous doctors and having many medical tests no one could pinpoint the problem. I was told that I would need to go on daily medication to prevent the headaches - the medication has such severe side affects that I knew there had to be a better approach. I couldn't see a life of pain and pills and knew there must be a better answer. That's when an acqaintance suggested I see Dr. Hardnett at Effective Chiropractic. He identified the problem, set up a plan for my treatment and now I am now feeling great, can plan activites, and most importantly, get a good night's sleep and can go about my day without a headache. This has truly been a life changing experience - I have recommended Effective Chiropractic to several friends and suggest this non-invasive treatment for anyone.

PREGNANCY PAINS AND HEADACHES

I first came to Dr. Hardnett for help with pregnancy pains after my medical Doctor told me there was nothing he or I could do about it. After just a couple of adjustments, Dr. Hardnett was able to relieve about 80-90% of the pain I was having and made it so I was able to work up to the week I delivered! He also helped me with headaches I have had since I was a kid. The office is great and the staff at Effective Chiropractic always make me feel comfortable and at ease. I will continue coming to Effective Chiropractic even though I’m not pregnant anymore because I now know how important it is to keep my spine healthy so I can continue to be an active mother.

CHRONIC LOWER BACK & SHOULDER PAIN

I started seeing Dr. Hardnett for chronic back and shoulder pain resulting from a serious auto accident. Since working with Dr. Hardnett I've noticed a significant increase in my mobility. SEVERE NECK & BACK PAIN

When I first arrived at Effective Chiropractic, I had horrible neck and back pain, to the point that I could not even bend my neck. Going to the doctor was my last resort. I was seen by Dr. Anthony Hardnett. He wasn't like any other doctor, he listened to what my feelings were and decided on a plan on how we could fix the problem without taking any kind of medication. He assured me that medication and surgery are always the last resort. We started out with some xrays, when he looked at the xrays he saw that my neck was not curved but straight and tilted to the right, throwing off my balance and causing the severe neck and back pain. Dr. Hardnett put me on various machines and performed adjustments. Although I had to see him for 2 months, I had noticed a big change, especially when I walk. When I walked before my head would always be down and I would veer off to the right all the time, since this was more comfortable for me. However, now when I walk my head is upright and I keep straight. After a couple weeks went by Dr. Hardnett wanted to take another set of xrays to see how I progressed, the xrays had come back, and I was completely blown away. Not only did I feel much better and my neck could bend without hurting, but my neck was aligned properly; curved and centered. I thank Dr. Hardnett from Effective Chiropractic for doing an excellent job on my neck and back. I would highly recommend going to check out Effective Chiropractic, because no one deserves to be in pain.

HIP PAIN, NECK PAIN, & LIMITED MOVEMENT

Prior to coming to Effective Chiropractic, I had been getting real bad hip & neck pain and could barely move in thoughs areas. I had been experiencing this for the past 6 months and the pain and limited movement was only getting worse. Since I started my treatment with Dr. Hardnett, my hip pain is gone and most of the neck problems are gone and getting more movement back. I would highly recommend Dr. Hardnett.
